About.

Evolving with passion.

Self–taught IT, later specialized in systems and networks administration, also learning guitar and bass guitar on my own.

I’m actually working in an IT tech role in Geneva and I am writing on my own blog, The Abyss Project for over half a decade.

I’ll do mainly systems and networks administration but also some dev (Bash, Python, Powershell, PHP).

Free software enthusiast, I mainly use Debian for my own servers except for my virtualisation labs where I run Vsphere.

I’ve begun IT really early, fixing computers given by family and friends to get parts and build my own. My graphics card was still using AGP at this time and games using DirectX 6.

Systems and later network administration came by managing some game servers for friends and myself and hosting them at the house with technologies available at the beginning of this century (a Pentium 4, an ADSL line and a HAMACHI VPN).

I am also an active contributor of the World Community Grid for some medical research projects
